  Objectives of experiment: The purpose of this experiment was to use PCR to ascertain whether or not individual clumps of Eastern Skunk Cabbage (Symplocarpus foetidus) displayed genetic variability.

 

 Hypothesis: The different plants of Eastern Skunk Cabbage within the area of study are genetically indistinguishable.
