Helvetia Meadows Farm

I raise working Great Pyrenees livestock guarding dogs (LGDs) and sheep on my small farm.  My ewe flock includes pure-bred North Country Cheviot (NCC) ewes and NCC-Blue-faced Leicester (BFL) Mule ewes.
I use the three-tier system with terminal sires including a New Zealand Suffolk and Texel.  My BFL ram is used to produce more NCC Mule ewes.

In late summer 2007, I partnered with Defenders of Wildlife's Bailey Wildlife Foundation Proactive Carnivore Conservation Fund (www.defenders.org/proactive)As part of a costshare program, we placed 8 Great Pyrenees pups on 4 farms in the UP of Michigan.
