The lab’s focus is directed towards understanding the genetic and physiological responses of microorganisms that control biogeochemical cycles in various environments, ranging from lakes to soils. We use an interdisciplinary approach to understand these processes by utilizing a range of techniques in molecular biology, biochemistry, and geochemistry.
