Invitation to submit papers presented at the conference
for the ICOSDA 2016 Special Issue in the
Journal of Statistical Distributions and Applications (JSDA) [UPDATED 12/29/2016] The conference presenters are invited to submit their
articles for consideration of publication in a special issue of the journal, Journal of Statistical Distributions and
Applications (http://www.JSDAjournal.com/ ). The submitted papers will go through
the same peer review process as regular submissions. The procedure for
submitting to the ICOSDA 2016 Thematic Series will be posted when it is
available. · The deadline for paper submission to the
ICOSDA 2016 Thematic Series is February 28, 2017. · We
have a limited funding to partially support the Article Processing Charge
(APC). Accepted papers will receive 75% waiver of APC until the fund is exhausted. · After
the fund is exhausted, accepted paper will receive 50% waiver of the APC. · The confirmed discount code
is AL-CMU-JSDA-1016
· · If
an associate editor of JSDA is a co-author of the paper submitted by December 31 2016, the paper will receive full
waiver of the APC. · Please
note Associate Editor should use the code SPRINGEROPEN2016EB in
order to receive 100% APC waive, if you submit the paper by Dec. 31, 2016. |
Where in the submission process you will need to enter the waiver
code? Quoted from the submission instruction on the JSDA submission site: “Authors should commence submission of their manuscripts before they will be able to enter their waiver code. After completing the initial submission steps and sending their manuscript for PDF generation, authors will come to the payment options page. By selecting "View Publication Costs" on this page and selecting the second option on the payment options tab, a text box will appear. Authors can then insert the waiver code into this text box and submit a waiver request. Their submission will be placed on hold until the Waivers team verifies and processes the waiver request (within two business days).” |
