Student Poster Session –
deadline is May 15, 2019 The conference will have a poster
session only for students. This will give student presenters a one-hour
period for sharing and discussing their research topics with researchers. Any
graduate student is welcome to submit her/his research work as a poster
presentation. Partial support may be available for student poster presenters.
Announcement of support will be made if it becomes available. The deadline of submission for consideration of a poster
presentation is The acceptance of the poster presentation will be announced a
few days after receiving the submission. See the Grant/Travel/Lodging Information page for application
of partial travel support for student poster presenters. The process of submitting a poster

Prepare the
abstract of the poster presentation. 2)
Complete and
submit the Poster Presentation

Call for Papers [Deadline expired] All
of the papers presented in the conference are invited presentations. The conference presenters
will be
invited to submit their full papers to the Journal of Statistical
Distributions and Applications for consideration of possible publication in
the ‘ICOSDA2016 Special Issue’. The submitted papers will go through the same
peer-review process as a regular submission. Invitation to
organize a Topic-Invited session We welcome researchers who are interested in organizing Topic-Invited
sessions. If you are interested in doing so, please contact the Organizing
Co-Chair, Carl Lee at carl.lee@cmich.edu November 30, 2018. A Topic-invited session organizer will be a
Scientific Program Committee Member. This conference will
feature the following types of presentations: |

Topic-Invited sessions
organized by scientific program committee members: (Deadline
expired) Topic-Invited session organizers will be members of the conference Scientific Program Committee. Each organizer will organize an invited session with the topic of common interest. Each session has four speakers for a total of 80 minutes (20 minutes for each speaker). |

The deadline for expression the intent to organize a
topic-invited session is November 30th, 2018. The deadline for submitting the speakers, and the
titles and abstracts of a Topic-Invited session is March 15th,
2019. The responsibilities of a Topic-Invited session
organizer include: 1)
Determine the
topic and a brief abstract (50 words or less) for the session. 2)
Submit the
Topic-Invited session title and the abstract to the conference co-chair: Carl Lee at carl.lee@cmich.edu. 3)
Invite three to
four speakers (may include the organizer) for the session and collect the
titles and abstracts of the presentations in the session. 4)
Complete and
submit the Topic-Invited Session Submission
Form to Carl Lee at
carl.lee@cmich.edu . 5)
Inform all
session speakers the completion of your submission and remind them to
register for the conference. |

General-Invited speaker
sessions:
For researchers who are not in a
Topic-Invited session, we welcome individual researchers to make presentation
of their research work that is within the scopes of the conference. The
presentation for a General-Invited speaker will be 20 minutes. The deadline for submitting the title and abstract for
consideration is April 15th, 2019. The acceptance of the presentation will be announced in a few
days after receiving the submission. The process of submitting a paper to a
General-Invited session: 1)
