Project:

The Ring Diameter dataset is used for various analyses in this online training workshop, which includes:

Montgomery Douglas C, , 1990, p. 234: Introduction to Statistical Quality Control(2nd Edition).

Description of Data:

The data consists of 20 samples with five(5) piston rings each. The diameter for each ring was measured.
 Variables in the data set are:

SampleID: sample identification Number

bullet

Diameter: Diameter of ring .
