I am a Nuclear Physicist and I work as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics of Central Michigan University. I come from Greece where Idid my undergraduate studies at the University of Ioannina. I received my Ph.D. in 2006 from the National Technical University of Athens. During that time I was doing my experiments at the 5.5 MV TANDEM accelerator of NCSR Demokritos in Athens. I have been a postdoctoral researcher (2007-2009) and then a Physicist (2009-2012) at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL) and the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB) of Michigan State University were I currently also hold an adjunct professor position.
