†Attendance and Participation

You will have regular in-class activities that will be graded for both correctness and participation. Your instructor will give you details about these activities. Overall, these do not count as a portion of your grade, but a lack of attendance/participation will result in a deduction from your final course grade, up to a maximum of 15%.

Regrading Policy

If you feel that there is an error in the grading of your work, please see your instructor or teaching assistant immediately after your graded work is returned to you. After you leave the classroom with your paper, regrading is no longer possible. There is no need to explain what you "meant" since your solutions should be sufficiently clear to begin with. Note that regrading is very strict, and your grade will be lowered if it is found that the grader(s) was overly-generous or that you are simply trying to get extra points without good reason.
