Background: The GLSIAM conferences are the largest regularly organized meetings in applied mathematics in the Great Lakes area. The same conferences were held in University of Michigan at Dearborn on April 17, 2010, Oakland University on April 16, 2011, and Wayne State University on April 21, 2012.

Abstract: This conference will be a leading forum for the presentation of new advances and research in the field of computational mathematics. Topics of interest for submission include, but not limited to: computational and systems biology, modeling and simulation in molecular biology, numerical and analytical partial differential equations (PDEs), applications of mathematics in material science, nanotechnology, and engineering, wavelet theory and applications, stochastic modeling techniques and applications, biomedical visualization and applications, high performance computing and simulation, simulation application in industry
