Homework will be completed online via WebAssign. You must purchase this; more information about purchasing can be found here.

At least 20% of every exam will be taken from these problems and class worksheets and at least another 30% will be very similar. It is hoped that you will work on the problems both on your own and in small groups. Permissions are set so that you can see the answers and assistance essentially immediately. These assignments make up 5% of your total grade.

Be sure to follow the above link to access WebAssign, as it will take you directly to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign login page. (Do not go to www.webassign.net.) You will need your NetID and AD password to log in. You will be automatically added to this course upon your first visit provided you are enrolled in this class and have purchased the required access code. It may be necessary to log out, close your browser (and empty the cache if necessary), and then log in again before you can see all of your classes. If that does not work, wait 24 hours after registering, and then try again. If it still does not work, contact WebAssign support (not your instructor). WebAssign Student Support

There will be 24 WebAssign assignments. Typically, there will be an assignment due on Monday at 11:59pm and on Friday at 11:59pm. There are exceptions, however, as indicated in the schedule below. Make note of this schedule, especially since some assignments have due dates on days besides Monday and Friday.

No late homework will be accepted, and no (individual) extensions given (so do not ask). This said, you are responsible for all material covered in all of the homework problems, completed or not.

Finally, never use the messaging system in WebAssign to contact me (I will probably never see the message). Always use my email provided on the course homepage.
